In fact, breath and posture are the most functional and effective ways to train your pelvic floor muscles, whether you are a man or a woman, because of its nature. Isolated, segmented training for this area has proven positive effects, for example Kegel exercises, yet it isn’t something you can bring to your life or that you will need by many reasons. Who needs to contract voluntarily their pelvic floor muscles?
What we need is these muscles to activate automatically when doing an effort or certain whole-body movements as well as during your breath. The breath is what is interlinked with all movements of the body and connects us to the deepest “layers” of our body and being. We want a core and pelvic floor that follows our movement and that is co-activated without our conscious request, naturally.

We will be working with the breath doing prolonged de-compression techniques of the abdomen and pelvis with the breath work, so eat lightly if so.
