This is a weekly class on Monday evenings 20.30 – 21.45 for students who have either completed the beginners course or have some previous experience and grounding in Tai Chi principles. The class is starting on Monday 28th May and runs for 10 week blocks.
Tai Chi and Chi Gong are ancient forms of Chinese exercise which have been practised for hundreds of years. The soft yet strong, flowing movements, combined with meditative breathing and mind focus, help to develop a deep sense of connection within our bodies and minds. Through regular practice this can develop a strong and flexible body and a calm and quiet mind.

Welcome to  Amsterdam Chen Tai Chi & Chi Gong ‘s 10 week Tai Chi Foundation Course :). 

This is a weekly class on Monday evenings 20.30 – 21.45 for students who have completed the beginners course  or have some previous experience and grounding in Tai Chi principles. The class is starting on Monday 28th May running in 10 week blocks from the  Therapeutisch Activiteiten Centrum Amsterdam .

About Tai Chi and Chi Gong
Tai Chi and Chi Gong are ancient forms of Chinese exercise of which have

practised for hundreds of years. The soft yet strong, flowing movements, combined with meditative breathing and mind focus, help to develop a deep sense of connection within our bodies and minds. Through regular practice this can be done in a calm and flexible way.

Amsterdam Chen Tai Chi & Chi Gong  on the teachings of Chen style which is more dynamic and powerful than other styles of Tai Chi. The Chen style is the oldest form of Tai Chi ever practiced. 


In this Foundation we take things a level deeper, working on the internal cultivation force and deepening our relationship with our Tantien (energy center) through various foundation exercises. 

About Sophie your instructor
Sophie Fagan is a Tai chi instructor from the UK now based in Amsterdam. She has studied Tai Chi for over a year in a variety of settings.

Having trained and taught at Tai Chi schools in Bristol UK as well as deepening training at The Wudang Gong Fu Academy in China. This range of experience and inspiration has been fuelling the enthusiasm and knowledge inherent in her teaching.

The cost is € 120 for the 10 week block.
